Dotty Invitation

Hi Creative lovelies,

Todays card is a take on the card in my last post where I used a 6x6 card blank but made it look bigger by going outside the card area using die cuts.

I've coloured Invitation Tilda using the no lines technique in black & white

The white vine flowers are Heartfelt Creations Open Vintage Floret Stamps, I stamped them onto vellum using versa mark ink and added white embossing powder.

The paper is papermania and the edges are inked with TH Distress Pumice stone ink

The die cuts are GoKreate Frilly Frame #7
Spellbinders Squares
Memory Box Spring Border and Pinwheel Posie.
Doo Hickey Swirl butterfly.

Other embellishments are
Papermania silver shimmer dome stickers
Pearl spray
Coloured pearls
Lace and ribbon
Paper flowers

A 3D winter card

Good morning creative peeps,

Well its been awhile since my last post to be honest I just haven't been in the blogging mood and I don't know why!? I have been trying out a 3D paper piecing technique with my magnolia stamps and this is what the snowy Tilda came out like...

I stamped Tilda on white card several times then coloured, cut out and embossed on the reverse of each little piece. Die cut a circle of kraft card and stamp Tilda on it, I used Pin flair glue to make them 3D.
I should warn you this technique is addictive!! Lol

The base is a Craftwork Cards 6x6 scalloped edge card blank. I have taken the matting and layering over the top of the fold so the card looks bigger than it is.
Paper is DCWV Linen Closet.

The die cuts are Doo Hickey Christmas Poinsettia and then embossed,
Memory Box Frostyville Border and Pinwheel Posie.
Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish.

Other embellishments are swirl stamp stamped with white acrylic paint
Papermania silver shimmer dome stickers
Pearl stickpin
Crystal droplets

I have added white paint here and there over the embellishments to give a distress look to the card.

Challenges:
Anything Goes

Christmas Bingo
(dry embossing, snowflake die cut, gems)

Well that's all for now

Dangling Tea Pots?

Good morning my lovelies

I hope the sun is shinning where you are today :o)

It's my turn to showcase the amazing yes amazing Tea Dance collection. The collection is so pretty, I had to go to town on this months make. I just love it!

The wall decoration has been made from two pieces of mount board, One with the arch cut out and 3D foamed over the top of the candi.

Complete with dangling tea pot and cups. I've covered both sides with paper and added micro beads to give texture and decoration.

All the edges have been lined with silver glitter.

The bunting and flowers finish it off.

Before I go I just wanted to show a few more project I made using the Tea Dance collection.

A card made by cutting the top of the flower away from the paper and tucking paper behind it, then add frame and flowers.

Tea cup with little tags

Hope you like my projects, I'll pop them on Pinterest so come over and have a look

Happy crafting

Polka dots & swirls

Hi creative peeps

Well I'm a happy bunny because two of the last challenges i entered with my last creation sweet pastel birdcage I've been a winner {midweek magnolia & MDUC} Thank you Lady's :o)

Now on to today's card with a fav colour combo of mine

The card size is 8x8 with kraft and polka dot card.
The middle shapes are die cut from a gokreate die #7,
the background is black mesh from hobbycraft

I've used princess pea Tilda from once upon a time 2013 collection,
coloured with promarkers & prisma pencils.
The bunting is a die cut from whimsy stamps called circle pennants, I've threaded each one with cotton and added pearls in between.

The swirly felt flowers are also a die cut memory box rolled rose, just cut out two different colours of felt and roll them together. the other flower I've made is from black tulle. Lace, ribbon bow, pearl string, pin, gems and glitter have also been added to finish the card off.

Challenges:

Bingo
(Flowers, Lace, Pearls)

Anything Goes
